This is really really cool. It reminds me of a project done at the 21st Century Art Museum in Kanazawa, Japan. I can't quite remember the name of the exhibit, I think it was called "Good House Good Body" but it was a similar concept. They set up the shell of a house in the art room and had projections on the floor that showed moving footprints and hands and shapes if "someone" dropped something. this is a great piece though, what a brilliant idea.
